In 2009, Carrie and Dave Schoenbaum moved from California to Zionsville, Indiana, and began their first renovation—a functional, timeless home where their family could put down new roots. As they channeled Dave's construction expertise and Carrie's creative eye into their project, they found themselves captivated by the opportunity to create something where there was nothing and to bring their own vision to life together. Before their home was complete, they had already partnered with an investor on another large renovation that led to inquiries about client work.

Those first few projects helped Carrie to establish her process and hone her skills, while also building a trusted network of talented trades that could work alongside them. Soon, Dave closed his electrical company, and Wildwood as it is today was born. In the time since, Dave and Carrie have helped numerous clients put down their own roots, collected a talented staff, and opened a brick-and-mortar shop of high-quality homewares.
